Worship…
…is not singing songs on Sunday morning at church
…is not sitting down and listening to your pastor preach
…is not going to Bible study
…is surrendering all to a God who surrendered His son for us
…is offering our lives as a living sacrifice holy and pleasing to God
…is inconvenient
…is uncomfortable
…is painful
…is costly
…is the only path to deep and lasting joy and the best possible life we can live
If we are to live a life of worship, we cannot separate that from justice. I’m encouraged to see a movement of some of the highest profile Christian artists using their platform for justice. Israel Houghton, Chris Tomlin, Hillsong to name a few. I too, as an artist, am joining in this movement which you will see more of in the near future.
Watch this. Then do something.
